What is the/your American Dream?
The American Dream for my family was to find jobs and to start a new life, my family left their country because they didn't feel comfortable to raise a family in Mexico and to find better jobs. My parents American Dream was to finish school and get their GED so they can get good job, my mom is still studying at TMCC to become a nurse and my dad is a construction worker and owns a tattoo shop.
My American Dream is to finish high school and going into college to study to be a police officer and i want to be the first one in my family to finish high school without dropping out, not getting arrested or getting pregnant and that's a big thing for my family because I'm changing that for the family, my second American Dream is to get good grades throughout my school years so it can look good in my background
to becoming a police officer.
